Ocean Decade
Children Oceanic Pottery Project
In response to the United Nations Ocean Decade (2021-2030), the project aims to bring ocean knowledge and understanding to Hong Kong’s young generation through a creative and engaging process.
The project also raises awareness for ocean conservation in Hong Kong through fundraising, using pottery creation from participating kindergarten students.
Treasure Hunt
The Parent-Child Pottery Design Competition
In the search of local talents and future artists, families are welcomed to join the competition by creating pottery pieces guided by the theme “My Treasure”.
This competition also aims to promote parent-child communication and cooperation through the fun of pottery-making.
Winning Entries
Pottery clay is the perfect medium for children to explore endless possibilities.
• Cultivate children’s creativity, imagination power, organization and communication skills;
• Gather strength and inherit Chinese traditional culture, committed to promoting the development of children’s art education in Hong Kong…
The ceramics class at school has received overwhelming response.
The pottery tutorial classes via Zoom enabled parents and children to learn about different pottery making skills and techniques from home.
Provide ceramic art introduction and creation experience for all kindergarten teachers in Hong Kong.
